At Aurora Behavioral Health Eating Disorder Treatment Center, we provide treatment at all levels of outpatient care to allow the individual to customize their treatment to their specific needs and goals. You may choose to participate in one of our treatment services at the individual level of care (psychotherapy, yoga therapy, nutrition counseling, meal support, group therapy, family therapy), combine these individual services to customize your own treatment care plan, or participate in the more structured treatment schedule of our established EMPOWER Eating Disorder Treatment Program℠ for clients with binge, overeating and compulsive eating behaviors or our NOURISH Eating Disorder Treatment Program℠ for clients with food restrictive, purging and other compensatory behaviors. Our goal is to ensure individualized treatment in a supportive setting, where each client’s story can be heard.
Evening & Weekend Intensive Group Programs
Based on a wellness model of healing and a whole-person approach to treatment, the eating disorder treatment programs at Aurora offer clients personalized treatment for a variety of eating disorders in a caring and welcoming setting. All staff are experts in the treatment of eating disorders and are trained in the Aurora model, which incorporates evidence-based behavioral interventions with psychodynamic techniques. Clients will work toward eliminating harmful symptoms of the eating disorder while developing an understanding of root causes as a means toward healing and relapse prevention. The unique wellness component of the Aurora Center is integrated into all programs and helps clients address all life areas that are affected by an eating disorder, including emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual.
